Player Exemptions

The following criteria will provide players with an exemption directly into the 2020 Monroe Invitational. If your qualifications meet any of the criteria listed below, please fill out the Exempt Players Application online and you will be provided with an invitation code to register online.

Major U.S. Rankings and Tournaments

  • Top 300 Scratch Players World Amateur Ranking (SPWAR)
  • Top 150 World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) 
  • Top 100 “Golfweek”  Amateur Ranking
  • Top 100 or GolfStat Collegiate Ranking
  • Top 10 Polo AJGA Ranking
  • Quarter Finalist or better in 2019 US Amateur Championship
  • Quarter Finalist or better in 2019 US Mid-Amateur Championship
  • Top 20 in 2019 NCAA Division I Championship
  • NCAA Division I All American – 1st, 2nd or 3rd team

Note: Monroe Invitational reserves the right to extend invitations to select local and national players. The number of exempt players will generally not exceed 70, approximately 85% of the field, the selection committee will make final determination on all invitations.
